Stella Thanksgiving

David’s mom, his dad, and his grandmother came for Thanksgiving again this year. I managed to contain my plans to a reasonable level — 3 hrs cooking time, and only 3 pies.
Almost everything on the menu was an experiment: Turkey breast (brined overnight, then roasted), ham, green bean casserole (recipe from EatingWell.com, no canned soup involved), roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes (Joy of Cooking), cider-glazed carrots (Tribune), stuffing (whatever it said on the box), and cranberry clementine relish (Tribune).
For dessert, we had pecan pie (Joy of Cooking), lemon-lime souffle pie (Tribune), and pumpkin mousse pie (EatingWell.com).
Stella had milk.
