Stella Snowfall
Monday, November 17th, 2008 | Yammer
Sunday was Stella’s first snowfall — or, at least, it was the first snowfall since Stella was born. She is closing in on four months old at this point, too young to remember it, too young to enjoy it. Cold is no good for babies. We bundle her up and dash between door and car, resize the carseat to accommodate ever larger bundles of clothes, pile on the blankets, buy socks and hope they will stay on her as she waves her feet, flexes her toes, and scrabbles against anything she can reach. So I can’t offer you a picture of what Stella looked like on her first snowy day. But I can tell you that when that first crumpled snowflake fell to melt on her dear little head as we rushed for warmth and shelter, I stopped and watched for just a moment before I kissed it away.

i have something that looks like a snow suit that you can take back with you and and 2 carseat suits that keeps them warm but doesn’t require tons of blankets and piled on clothes..Marla
